What did that choice accomplish?
The first meters have been made and a solid basic system set up. After a thorough process optimization, all new processes were made transparent to everyone in the organization via the software.
Asset management is expected to be professionalized through the ISO2HANDLE platform in the coming months. Issue and intake as well as maintenance, repair and inspection will then be managed through the software. This will save an enormous amount of manual work and no more issues will be overlooked.
Via a link with the existing ERP system, a risk analysis will soon be performed automatically for each phase of a newly acquired project. For each risk identified, the system will encourage specific employees to take and record their control measures. Thus, a super effective module for risk management has been set up. Risks are identified the moment they arise and immediately placed in the right place in the organization for mitigation, with their handling also automatically monitored.
How easy was it to set up the ISO2HANDLE?
"Because the system has endless possibilities, the learning curve can be called steep, especially in the beginning. Fortunately, good help from ISO2HANDLE is always nearby. Meanwhile, the first steps have been taken and we will expand by setting up various APIs to retrieve information from other applications," says Richard.
The coming time is reserved for prioritizing processes and involving and training ICT people so that they have a better understanding of ISO2HANDLE's functionality and capabilities.
All in all, it is a "work in progress" and Lomans is well on its way.
